Do I need a crypto wallet?
Yes, currently you need MetaMask or a compatible wallet with a small amount of ETH on Base network. UPI/Card payment is coming soon.
Can I delete or edit my wish after minting?
No. Once sealed on the blockchain, your wish is permanent and immutable. No one can change or remove it — not even us. Please review carefully before confirming.
What happens to my photo or voice note?
Media files are stored on IPFS, a decentralized storage network. Your message text is stored directly on the blockchain. The text is permanent; media availability depends on the storage network.
How much does it cost?
Basic wishes start at ~$0.15 (paid in ETH). Gas fees on Base are under $0.01. No recurring charges.
Can anyone see my wish?
Yes. All wishes are public and viewable by anyone with the link. Wallet addresses are visible on the blockchain. Don't include sensitive personal information.
What is a Moment?
A Moment is a shared space where multiple people can add wishes for a common occasion — like wishing a public figure happy birthday. Anyone can create a Moment and share it.
Where can I view my wish after minting?
After minting, you get a unique link (e.g. wish.html?id=5) that you can open anytime. You can also find all your wishes by connecting your wallet and clicking "My Wishes" in the top menu. No account needed — your wallet is your identity.
Can I share my wish with someone who doesn't have a wallet?
Yes. Anyone can view a wish using the link — no wallet, no app, no login required. Just share the link via WhatsApp, X, Instagram, or any platform. The recipient sees the full wish card in their browser.
What happens if I lose the wish link?
Connect the same wallet you used to mint and click "My Wishes" — it queries the blockchain directly and shows all wishes you ever created. The wish lives on the blockchain forever, not on your device.
Can someone else see my wish on the blockchain?
Yes. All wishes are public on the Base blockchain. Anyone can see the message, recipient name, and sender name. Your wallet address is also visible. Don't include sensitive personal information in your wish.
How do Moments work?
Anyone can create a public Moment (like "Wish Elon Musk a Happy Birthday") and share the link. Others can add their wishes to that Moment. All wishes are Basic tier (text only). It's a great way to collect wishes from a community for a shared celebration.
Can I create a Moment for free?
Yes. Creating a Moment is currently free. Your wallet address is recorded as the host of the Moment. You can share the link with anyone and they can add their wishes by paying the Basic wish fee (~$0.15).
What does "Preserve" mean?
Preserve is for anything beyond traditional wishes — save a tweet, a prediction, a milestone, or any text you want permanently recorded on-chain. Think of it as a digital time capsule.
Is my photo or voice note stored permanently?
Your message text is stored directly on the blockchain and is permanent. Photos and voice notes are stored on IPFS (a decentralized network). They are designed for long-term availability, but their permanence depends on the storage network. Your text is guaranteed forever.
